Kacper's events for Belarussians and Ukrainians in Gdansk

Landecker Fellow Kacper Dziekan has recently organized two events for Belarusians and Ukrainians in Poland.

The first event, taking place on July 27 2022, was a tour of the historical center of Gdansk. The evening event was very successful, hosting around 50 participants from Belarus, Ukraine, and Poland. Click here to view the official event poster.

Furthermore, Kacper has also launched a Polish language course for both Belarusians and Ukrainians. Participants were divided into two smaller groups. Each group will be meeting separately to achieve a truly interactive learning environment.

Kacper is one of thirty 2021-2022 Landecker Democracy Fellows. This fellowship, a collaboration between the Alfred Landecker Foundation and Humanity in Action, was created to strengthen a new generation of leaders whose approaches to political and social challenges can become catalysts for democratic placemaking and community building.
