After Law Professor César Cuauhtémoc García Hernández gave a guest lecture at the University of Oxford on immigration imprisonment in the US, Senior Fellow Bill De La Rosa wrote a piece titled “Closing Immigration Prisons” for All Souls Blog. In the piece, Bill gave a brief overview of the lecture and talked about the issues raised by the speaker, including the growth of prison facilities in the past decades, the current prison system, and importance of reimagining immigration imprisonment.
