Senior Landecker Fellow Asha Iman Veal is joining the Emerging Leaders Class of 2023, a program by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs.

In this competitive program, participants gain a deeper understanding of global issues and skills to support Chicago and its communities in addressing global challenges and bolstering Chicago’s position as a global city.

The Emerging Leaders Class of 2023 will spend a year examining these key issues, the official press release announced. The Emerging Leaders will engage in leadership development and skills training in public speaking, op-ed writing, and policy analysis.
