Breaking up the existing rigid structures

In the summer of 2023, Janina Lehmann gave an interview to Foundation world about her experience as a Gen Z-er serving as the chairperson of the supervisory board of the Kreuzberger Kinderstiftung and manager at Humanity in Action.

In the interview, Janina was asked about her rapid professional advancement. She laughed, and almost embarrassed she replied: “Sometimes I think to myself if I skipped a few steps.”

Indeed, the career growth that Janine has achieved already at 26 is quite impressive.

Janina further shared that it is the fear of the future what motivates her and her peers to roll up their sleeves and fight for a better world. “We are committed to social justice and want to break up the existing rigid structures,” she explains.
