Landecker Fellow Judith Blijden is nominated for the “Women in ESG: 50 Rising Stars Changing the World” award by the Dutch New Narrative Lab, initiated by the Women of the Future Programme.
The initiative aims to recognize and celebrate female trailblazers and role models in the field of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) who are making a tangible difference and leaving a lasting impact on their organizations, the environment, and society at large. Judith was nominated for her work on The Digital Period, her Landecker Action Project.
“These extraordinary women have been chosen for their innovative and tireless efforts in the ESG space, contributing to a more sustainable and equitable future for generations to come,” stated the Dutch New Narrative Lab in their recent LinkedIn post.
Following the DNNL list nomination, a distinguished panel of judges will assess and shortlist the final 50 stories. The successful candidates will be announced in September, marking the official unveiling of the 2023 Women of the Future, 50 Rising Stars in ESG.
Judith is one of thirty 2022-2023 Landecker Democracy Fellows. This fellowship, a collaboration between the Alfred Landecker Foundation and Humanity in Action, was created to strengthen a new generation of leaders whose approaches to political and social challenges can become catalysts for democratic placemaking and community building.
