Seeking 1610, Landecker Fellow Kazmyn Ramos’ Action Project, was accepted into PIE For Our Neighbors!

PIE For Our Neighbors is a new experiment from PIE (Portland Incubator Experiment) Accelerator focused on startups addressing the needs of the houseless, housing insecure, and the service providers in the space.

Since June, Kazmyn has been exposed to “brilliant folks, received resources, and been pushed to try new things to help make the affordable housing search faster and easier,” Kazmyn shared in this LinkedIn post.

It’s so cool that a startup accelerator like PIE decided to venture into this space. I’m humbled to be part of such an amazing cohort,” she adds.

Finally, a big Thank You goes to another Landecker Fellow Deborah Tien for sharing this opportunity with Kazmyn.

Kazmyn is one of thirty 2021-2022 Landecker Democracy Fellows. This fellowship, a collaboration between the Alfred Landecker Foundation and Humanity in Action, was created to strengthen a new generation of leaders whose approaches to political and social challenges can become catalysts for democratic placemaking and community building.
