Katja Buch Madsen is the Program Director at Humanity in Action Denmark. Holding a MA in African Studies, she is a critical thinker seeking to challenge stereotypical images and misrepresentations. Through a previous position at Danida Fellowship Centre she has been lucky to meet bright heads from all over the world, create community and build bridges across cultures. Katja is passionate about how we can build just futures within planetary boundaries. As a nerd, she enjoys seeking new knowledge and is currently involved in the Rethinking Economics Network. Knowing burn-out, she cares deeply about bringing compassion into activism by holding space for all that arise. Katja is also a senior fellow from the Copenhagen Fellowship 2022.
