Student of life and servant of humanity, Kiran Kaur is a public policy analyst and economist, specialized in social protection policy and a graduate of the United Nations University (UNU-MERIT). Originally trained in physics, her path shifted toward the social sciences through a deep commitment to social service, alongside her spiritual pursuits . This transition led her to study economics and ultimately pursue a career dedicated to advancing social justice and human rights.
Over the past seven years, Kiran has applied her skills across a range of international contexts, from managing COVID-19 disaster relief efforts with an NGO in New Delhi, India, to designing and teaching psychoeducational programs in Türkiye. A communicator and educator, she has taught and mentored students across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, consistently weaving problem-based learning and community development in her pedagogy.
Motivated by a profound belief in oneness and the collective good, Kiran uses her quantitative skills to inform evidence-based policymaking that protects and empowers the most vulnerable. Her work is driven by the aspiration to uphold human dignity and contribute meaningfully to inclusive, rights-based development. She envisions a lifelong career at the intersection of public policy, education, and human rights.
