Mahmoud Mansour is a Danish-Palestinian, 25-year-old Master of Laws student at the University of Copenhagen. He is currently based in New York for a traineeship with Denmark’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations, where he supports work related to the UN Security Council through policy, legal, and diplomatic analysis. His interests center on human rights, international law, minority rights, the Middle East (particularly Israel/Palestine), integration, climate justice, and the rule of law. He has served on the Humanity in Action Denmark Board since 2023 and is the co-founder of the Palestinian–Jewish Alliance, which received a human rights award in 2025. He frequently contributes to public debate—on television, radio, and in print—and has authored opinion pieces in leading Danish newspapers.
Previously, Mahmoud held leadership roles in youth politics, served as an ambassador for the Danish Red Cross’s annual fundraising campaign supporting refugees worldwide, and worked as a legal advisor at the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority. He has also worked in the psychiatric sector. In his free time, he likes to go to the gym, meditate and get his weekly all-you-can-eat sushi at the local sushi bar. He hates following recipes and prefers to experiment in the kitchen.
