As an incoming postgraduate student at the Oxford Internet Institute, Georgian-American student Mari Managadze can be defined by two words: constantly curious. Whether it’s reading about obscure Middle Eastern languages, to major hacks and international crises of the last decades, they can often be found trawling the depths of Wikipedia or listening to video essays about current events.
Mari is currently working on independent side projects, including several volunteering and ad-hoc assignments in Amsterdam, photography with Slim Radio, and other projects in the alternative community. Her present interests lie in big tech/AI ethics and policy, social justice, and narratives of subversive (online) communities, especially within OSINT and the deep/dark web sphere. She is also in the works of creating a Substack and/or YouTube channel focused on her array of interests.
