Either alone or through community events, Michael can be found gardening in honor of his African, Indigenous Caribbean, and Native American ancestral roots, or supporting/guiding donation-based meditation sessions. Michael studied Economics and Chinese Studies at Morehouse College where he graduated as valedictorian in 2017.
