Mneera Abdullah Saud

Mneera is a researcher-advocate at the intersection of technology and feminist justice. She earned her BA in Computer Science from Brown University, and an MSc in the Social Science of the Internet with Distinction from the Oxford Internet Institute, where she studied as a Rhodes Scholar. Mneera believes strongly in the importance of holistic, community-based approaches to care, and grounds her advocacy in these values. To this end, she used her Humanity in Action Fellowship to develop a community healing, peer support initiative for survivors of sexual violence, and carried out the project as Welfare Officer of the It Happens Here campaign at Oxford. For her work and advocacy supporting survivors, she was named a 2022 Oxford Welfare Award finalist.
