Treasurer Piet Rietman worked in the financial industry for 8 years before joining the general board of trade union FNV in 2022, as treasurer. In his work for the FNV Piet is also involved in negotiating and in mobilizing members, such as the national strikes in 2024 from sectors with physical hard labor. At Humanity in Action Piet focusses on finding new sources of income and developing HiA in an era with less institutional sources of income.
