Pola Kuliczkowska, originally from Poland, found her second home in 2020 in the Netherlands. Her academic background, a Bachelor degree in International Sociology, developed her passion and motivation to investigate the topics of civil society and social justice. Gained knowledge and interests enabled her to research the protest movements in Poland that started rising again in 2015 with the focus on political influence. Possibility to finish her final study semester at a Canadian university shifted her focus on learning about human rights within the context of Indigenous communities. After her studies, she interned in a People Experience team in Swapfiets where she gained experience in Learning and Development while being able to deliver trainings and workshops for employees. If not found in pilates classes or at a local market she can be spotted exploring ramen places in Amsterdam or in the cinema watching the newest releases.
