Senad graduated with a double degree in Architecture and International Relations and Diplomacy from the International University of Sarajevo. Before he had obtained his minor in Architectural Engineering, Senad started working with a number of prominent NGOs and other civil society organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. During this work he gained a lot of experience in the organization and management of NGO work. Amongst other duties, he provided strategic and technical guidance and organized networking events such as conferences and seminars with local as well as international cooperation partners and donors. Furthermore, acting as a spokesperson for some of these organizations coupled with his work as a journalist have all supplemented his education and training with public application. Senad is also an activist for environmental causes and a barrier-free environment ensuring access for disabled people and has demonstrated a strong interest in human and minority rights as well as the institutional system of the European Union.
