“ROMA: A Discussion on Diversity and the Treatment of Minorities,” was an online course of lectures and discussions created by Humanity in Action Senior Fellow Sahra-Josephine Hjorth and CanopyLAB. The course focused on the treatment of the Roma people in Europe and drew important parallels to current migration crisis. CanopyLAB is a platform for NGOs to engage youth in online learning and activism.

In 2013, Humanity in Action Denmark held a conference in Copenhagen to mark the 70th anniversary of the flight and rescue of Danish Jewry. This book was published in association with the “October 1943” conference. The anthology examines how European societies dealt with the knowledge of the Nazi persecution of Jews in very different ways before, during and after the Holocaust.
