Senior Fellow Carolin Wiedemann wrote two articles that will be published in the forthcoming book “The World After Corona”. One of her articles focuses on patriarchy in the context of the global pandemic, while the other highlights Germany’s racist asylum system. “The World after Corona” will be published on January 9th, 2021. Classism describes discrimination based on social origin. It is directed against people from the poor or working class, it affects life expectancy and limits access to housing, education, health care and recognition. With "Solidarisch gegen Klassismus" (With Solidarity against Classism), Senior Fellow Francis Seeck and Brigitte Theißl publish the first German-language anthology on anti-classicism.
Senior Fellow Tim Hoff, together with his running group was preparing for the Vienna Marathon in April. The cancellation of the marathon due to Coronavirus gave him moments of frustration as all the plans and goals had to be thrown overboard.
