Starting on October 17, Hui-Hui’s PAC is launching the awareness campaign titled “What’s Your Connection to Asia? #WidenJeHorizon.”
The awareness campaign aims to make visible the more than 1.2 million Dutch people with Asian roots to better represent and make them visible through six personal stories.
From a philosophy student to a dancer and from the first “immigrant” mayor to a career coach, all with a rich story of who they are.

Hui-Hui is one of thirty 2021-2022 Landecker Democracy Fellows. This fellowship, a collaboration between the Alfred Landecker Foundation and Humanity in Action, was created to strengthen a new generation of leaders whose approaches to political and social challenges can become catalysts for democratic placemaking and community building.
