Senior Fellow co-organizes a fashion show supporting survivors of sexual violence

The association Stowarzyszenie Forgetmenot, which supports survivors of sexual violence, organized such a unique fashion show in Warsaw. HIA Poland Senior Fellow and activist network member Gosia Kot, who is the event co-organizer and model, stressed, “It was a remarkable action to empower violence survivors and go against the common thinking [that] victims…should hide whereas perpetrators so often walk freely not being held accountable for the crime. All of us – models, members of the association – felt powerful in reclaiming our lives back.”
