Alex Rossen is a writer, journalist, researcher, multimedia artist and photographer. Alex recently graduated from Rowan University with a degree in International Studies, as well as minors in Sociology and Jewish Studies. As an undergraduate, Alex spent one and a half years on the editorial board of the school’s student-run publication the Whit at Rowan. There, he covered important social issues including reproductive rights, racial justice and mental health protections for students. His work has also been featured on Fox 29 Philadelphia. Alex was also the founding president of Rowan’s Center for the Study of the Holocaust, Genocide and Human Rights (RCHGHR) Student Association, where he organized and lead numerous student programs highlighting pertinent human rights issues throughout history and in the present. Alex’s writing, research and advocacy focus on mental health outcomes for survivors of genocide, war and other humanitarian crises.
