Davina Thompson is a Ghanaian-American policy activist, journalist, and ceramic artist. She earned her B.A. in Public Policy from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs, with minors in African Studies and Journalism. As a QuestBridge Scholar, she was active in the Rose Castle Society, gaining experience in reconciliation and cross-cultural dialogue. Davina has held program coordination roles at several NGOs, including the Aspen Institute’s Science & Society Program, where she focused on youth mentorship. She has written extensively on African current affairs as an International Africa Reporter for Modern Treatise and is passionate about sharing human rights and refugee stories through creative mediums. Her senior thesis examined successful refugee integration strategies through a Liberian-Ghanaian case study. Committed to a career in public service, Davina will participate in the Humanity in Action program before moving to Rwanda as a Princeton in Africa Fellow.
