Kyla Johnson brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Diplomacy and Diversity Fellowship. She began her career in international development as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mozambique where she spent three years working on HIV/AIDS and malaria outreach. After her Peace Corps service, she was selected as a 2014 LGTVP ICats Fellow, placed with Educate Girls, an NGO based in Mumbai, India. Her most recent position was with Dimagi, a social enterprise working at the intersection of international development and technology. Kyla is currently pursuing an M.A. in global communication, specializing in public diplomacy, at the Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University. Kyla is a native of Detroit, Mich.
