Marianna Matzer is a team lead at the Foundation EVZ and responsible for the think-and-do tank EVZ expanded, as well as for the funding programs against Antisemitism, discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity, and the strengthening of the Romani and Sinti communities in Germany.

Born and raised in Austria, Marianna studied cultural anthropology and philosophy in Graz and learned through here studies, that there is a solution to every problem and a problem to every solution. Today she specializes in minority rights, antiracism and working towards open societies. Previously, before her time at the foundation, she worked in different NGOs in Berlin on the topics of non-formal education, migration and participation.

In her spare time, Marianna is active in her neighborhood and acts as a mentor to support children through their school careers.
