Noam Schimmel is a Lecturer in International and Area Studies at University of California, Berkeley where he teaches a range of courses in global studies and human rights. He is a former Visiting Associate Professor of Ethics and International Affairs and Professorial Lecturer at the Elliott School of International Affairs, George Washington University. He has taught on the International Honors Program (IHP) of World Learning/SIT School of International Training on their comparative human rights study abroad program in Nepal, Jordan, and Chile.
