Originally from El Paso, Samantha Skory has been an invaluable San Antonian for the last decade. After graduating with a Psychology and a Communication degree, she continued pursing her education and received her Master’s degree in International Relations. She has been working in the International Relations field focusing her efforts on global community building, shared culture and history, and important discussions on topics such as human trafficking, climate change, and economic disparity. In addition to international relations, she has also worked as a graphic designer for various marketing offices and event planning organizations for the last decade and has a very good eye for design. Samantha is very interested in international politics, history, and especially the Cold War. She is focused on understanding the nuances of housing policy and revitalization/gentrification efforts. Samantha enjoys traveling and is counting down the days until her next adventure as a Humanity in Action fellow.
