Germaine Png is a performance/ sound artist, contemporary percussionist, and composer currently pursuing a MA in Sound Studies and Sonic Art at Universität der Künste, Berlin. With a background in classical music, Germaine has played with the Perth Symphony Orchestra and Orchestre de la Francophonie, and has been awarded the Luigi Paolino Award for Excellence in Classical Percussion (2021). She continues to traverse the world of sound art, working extensively with multi-media installations.
In her practice, Germaine places importance on intimacy, community, and sustainability.
