Article

Ezgi Gülistan Gül is a German-Kurdish advocate for social justice and human rights. She recently completed her undergraduate degree in Sociology, Politics and Economics at the Zeppelin University Friedrichshafen, with a semester abroad at the American University of Armenia. With experiences in Berlin, Yerevan, and Kampala, her focus lies on statelessness, denialism, and memory politics, with an interest in their geopolitical dimensions. Her writing and research, centering marginalized communities and contested histories, have been published in Kubi online and Ciya Magazin. She has also been recognized with awards for her academic contributions. Ezgi interned with Amnesty International and the German Parliament, where she contributed to projects in foreign policy, human rights, security policy and external economic policy. She is also active in volunteer initiatives addressing educational equity and transitional justice. Deeply committed to intersectional justice, she seeks to amplify silenced narratives and contribute to change in policy and public discourse.
