Wir unterstützen junge Menschen darin, in ihren Gemeinschaften für Menschenrechte aktiv zu werden.
In den 11 Monaten nach dem Fellowship-Programm arbeiten unsere Fellows in ihren Communities an einem Action Project: eine unabhängige Initiative, die sich auf die Förderung demokratischer Werte in diversen Gemeinschaften konzentriert. Action Projects sind so vielfältig wie Humanity in Action Fellows. Die Fellows wenden ihr neues Wissen und ihre neuen Perspektiven an, um gesellschaftlichen Einfluss zu nehmen - in jenem Format, das sie für sinnvoll halten. Die Humanity in Action Community ist eine großartige Ressource, um Unterstützung dabei zu erhalten - sei es durch Kontakte, Erfahrung oder Beratung.

Foraging Stories
As her action project, Clarissa Shane started "Foraging Stories", a community-centric project, as a way to connect with the community, preserve plants, and inspire stories.

EcoLegal Trainings for community-driven transformations
As part of her action project, Cristina founded the Environmental Legal Education Project (ELEP) to empower people to explore environmental and human rights cases, discuss their effects, and provide legal tools for defending their rights.

Landecker Democracy Fellow Farah's project highlights and addresses the root causes of misinformation about marginalized communities through storytelling, workshops, and a social media campaign.

Landecker Democracy Fellow Elisabeth Becker Topkara’s project, Inscribing Plurality, unites young Jews and Muslims (age 18-25) who live in Berlin and are interested in a career in journalism/writing to pen both their future and the future of our society together.

Landecker Democracy Fellow Cecy's project, Rebel Planner, is an empowering workbook for more political engagement. The workbook uses tools and techniques known from coaching and mindfulness training.

Tech Won't Build It
For the past decade, Yonatan has been holding large tech companies accountable. His Landecker Democracy Fellowship project aims to empower content moderators, educating them what their range of tools are, from legal action in the cases of blatant violations to softer advocacy, to ensure social media platforms are tools of legitimate discourse.
