‘Combatting Antisemitism in Denmark’ is aimed at educating Danish school children about the historical origins of antisemitism and how it influences modern-day antisemitism.
The project was developed to make educational materials more accessible to students and teachers alike in the hope of bringing attention to the topic of antisemitism in the Danish education system, in which the topic seems almost non-existent. To this end, Christina has in cooperation with the Danish Jewish Museum, where Christina worked, published a report on ‘Combatting Antisemitism in Denmark’, which you can read here.
The educational material is based on modern and historical sources, and is packed with exercises for teachers to use when teaching about antisemitism.
