In September 2022, Senior Landecker Fellow Jeannette Gusko became Managing Director of the Correctiv research center – a non-profit and independent journalistic organization.
As Jeannette shared in this Journalist article, she will manage Correctiv together with its founder David Schraven. “David Schraven has the responsibility for content, I mainly take care of business development as well as strategic and organizational development,” Jeannette explained.
Jeannette has much to offer to the organization. Among else, she is highly skilled in personal and institutional fundraising, building communities and digital business models.
“We want to better reflect diversity in our society and also exemplify modern leadership to our team,” Jeannette emphasized.

Jeannette is one of thirty 2020-2021 Landecker Democracy Fellows. This fellowship, a collaboration between the Alfred Landecker Foundation and Humanity in Action, was created to strengthen a new generation of leaders whose approaches to political and social challenges can become catalysts for democratic placemaking and community building.
