Law professor and former John Lewis Fellowship Director Tanya Washington delivered a lecture, which was entitled “The Trump Effect: Race, Regression & Restoration.” Dr. Tanya Washington focused on race relations in the United States and what socio-cultural silver lining: the election of Donald Trump yielded in this context. The lecture was well-received with almost 100 people attending. It was followed by a networking event that was co-sponsored by NYU Berlin.
