Landecker Fellow Ayden Férdeline was cited in the Annual report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and reports of the Office of the High Commissioner and the Secretary-General.
At the 53rd session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), the High Commissioner for Human Rights presented report A/HRC/53/42 titled “Human rights and technical standard-setting processes for new and emerging digital technologies.”
This report analyses the relationship between technical standard-setting processes and human rights. Landecker Fellow Ayden Férdeline is cited on pages 9 and 11 of this document. In addition, while not attributed by name, some of the report’s recommendations mirror the recommendations that Férdeline submitted to the High Commissioner for Human Rights in a written statement.
