The BR (Bayerischer Rundfunk) published an article about Landecker Fellow Christiana Bukalo and her online platform www.Statefree.world. The interview covers how Christiana was born in Germany but because her parents fled West Africa without the paperwork needed to register Christiana as a German citizen, she is considered stateless. As Christiana grew older, she began realizing the extent of challenges stateless individuals and people with unclear citizenship face, and the lack of transparent information available to them. In the interview, she discusses the importance of connecting stateless people to provide both resources and a sense of community.
