Amidst the Russian invasion of Ukraine, many within the Humanity in Action community are organizing refugee support and aid supply, as well as offering housing to Ukrainian refugees.
“Everyone is welcome, we will find space for everyone seeking safety,” Zuzanna Krzatala, our Senior Fellow and staff member of HIA Poland, told BBC News. As over one million people have fled Ukraine into Poland, groups of grassroots activists, such as GRUPA ZASOBY, are organizing shelters for refugees and matching refugees with those who are offering their homes.
