Details

Article

In the last two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, Asian communities worldwide have been the targets of racist, xenophobic violence and discrimination.

Landecker Fellow Hui-Hui Pan was recently a speaker on #StopAsianHate to discuss anti-Asian racism in the Netherlands. In collaboration with Samen Tegen Racisme, Hui-Hui and the other guest speakers discussed the developments of anti-Asian racism since the outbreak.

Across the two panels, guest speakers focused on the diversity of the Asian community in the Netherlands and the stereotypes and depth of anti-Asian racism. Throughout the broadcast, they also addressed the solutions needed and the Dutch initiatives to support in combating these sentiments.
