Anna Diesing

Article

Anna Diesing is an anthropologist with a passion for environmental anthropology and political ecology. Next to her degree in anthropology and minor in Frugal Innovation for Global Sustainable Development, she completed a course on filmmaking at the Royal Academy of the Arts in The Hague. Anna is a strong advocate of alternative presentation forms in academia, and has in the past used film, photography, zines and drawings as academic outlets. If there is a movie she likes, it is likely a documentary, and so she spends her free time volunteering with movies that matter on tour, a spinoff to a yearly human rights based film festival.

If you wonder what a good conversation starter with Anna would be, try knitting, fermentation, foraging or traveling.
