Bogdana Buzarnescu Charpentier is a world traveler and professional nomad, having had the opportunity to work in multiple environments in her constant search for professional meaning. She was a teacher working with children in Romania, translator and interpreter for the US Holocaust Museum, an event organiser, PR and communications associate for an European project in Hungary, as well as research fellow and program coordinator at the Central European University.
She is passionate about political change focusing on European multiculturalism and globalisation (this was actually her BA thesis topic!). Since 2015, Bogdana has worked at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France, focusing on environmental, societal and health related topics, contributing to reports that propose important changes to legislation in member states. She is currently on sabbatical leave and embarking on yet another life adventure this time around in Boston, Massachusetts.
