Born and raised in Lublin, Poland, Daniel Jezierski graduated History in 2009 with special interest in German-Polish relations in the 20th century. After Humanity in Action Summer Fellowship Program in Warsaw, 2010, he implemented the project “Voices from Poland: the Polish Minority Perspective” – awarded the 2nd prize in the second HIA Poland/U.S. Embassy in Poland grant competition “Let’s Get Down To work” for HIA Fellows, resulted in his first publication. As a member of Amnesty International, Daniel realised its educational programs in high schools giving lectures and workshops on human rights for schoolchildren. Currently living in Wroclaw, he is a co-founder of “Diversja” Association, which is focused on promoting diversity and tolerance organizing such events as ”Human Library” for local community.
