Eva Degler is currently a Fellow with Teach First Germany and works at a high school in Berlin where she focuses on political education, language learning and supporting young people transitioning into further education and jobs. Previously, she worked at the International Migration Division at the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris. Her main research focus has been on social mobility of migrant families, labor market integration, and anti-discrimination policies. She is also interested in migration history, museum pedagogy, and the role of the city in facilitating the inclusion of newcomers. Eva holds a Liberal Arts degree from Amsterdam University College and a MSc in Migration Studies from the University of Oxford. Eva is a Humanity in Action Senior Fellow (Berlin Fellowship 2012).
