Born and raised in Banja Luka, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Marija Karić is a psychology graduate at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Banja Luka. She works with the University’s Laboratory of Experimental Psychology assisting in organizing laboratory activities and running their social media accounts. Her research is primarily focused on the cognitive processes specific to the bi-alphabetism in the Serbian language. Marija’s interest in Developmental Psychology and her fascination with children has led her to volunteer under the project “Older brother/older sister” within the Youth Center “Hi Neighbour” for two years. She has been actively volunteering in a Children’s Orphanage in Banja Luka since October of 2019. Marija plans to pursue an MSc in Clinical Psychology and eventually a PhD in Developmental Psychology.
