Article

Michelle Brunßen (Michu) is a social psychologist with an MA in Psychology of Mobility, Diversity, and Inclusion in Society, whose effort lies at the intersection of social practice and collective care. They currently work in social inclusion services, supporting people affected by structural exclusion, for instance, due to ableism and mental health stigma. Previously, their academic work critically examined how collectivity is formed through care and collective joy, exploring ways to reimagine social relations beyond neoliberal logics of individualism. Michu has been engaged in mutual aid initiatives, university politics, and is currently working on a project focused on transformative justice.

“I seek to challenge neoliberal logics of social relations by framing relationships as dynamic sites of political possibility and shared agency. I emphasise their capacity to reshape how we act, feel, and organise together.”
