Namig Abdullayev is currently serving as an intern at Humanity in Action BiH. He is an Azerbaijani independent researcher and educator specializing in conflict transformation, democracy, and human rights. He currently resides in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he is pursuing a Master’s degree in Democracy and Human Rights in South East Europe (ERMA), a joint program by the University of Sarajevo and the University of Bologna.
Namig has been actively engaged in civic initiatives across the South Caucasus and Eastern Europe since 2018. His work focuses on building democratic resilience, supporting civil society, and providing human rights education in authoritarian settings.

His research interests are alternatives to human rights principles addressing human security and social harm, conflict transformation in the South Caucasus, civic spaces, and geopolitics.
