The Action Project of Malwina Tkacz – student of law and philosophy as well as a Fellow of 2020 Humanity in Action Warsaw Fellowship/Academy of Human Rights – is going to explore the views of other young men and women in other cultures about what it means to be a woman in current times.
As Malwina explains “Sylvia Plath said that being born a woman is my awful tragedy. What makes being a woman so tragic? Are women more susceptible to injustice and illness, violence and crime, disrespect and oppression? Do women face the same obstacles in every culture, and in every field?”
Specifically, Malwina’s Action Project is to take the form of a series of podcasts about female authors, their perspective, and show women and men how womanhood shaped the world and can change it.
