EDVACAY Fellows Almedina Mehić, Anastasija Ćorović, Jelena Dubravac, and Jelena Kerezović will create a scavenger hunt event with maps, puzzles and hints for young participants in two local communities, Banja Luka and Brčko, with the goal to provide the participants with knowledge, interesting historical facts and “signs of reconciliation” in their cities. By creating this interactive activities 18-20 participants in two communities will have the chance to learn about the history of the local community they are live in, and through the interactive process compete against each other and engage with the passers by who will help them solve puzzles in order to advance in the game. The main goal of this project is to promote peace-building among young people in BiH and motivate them to individually take part in the peace-building process. The final product of the project initiative will be a promotional video of the scavenger hunt that will include video footage of the hunt and videos made by the participants themselves and their perspectives during the competition. The project will be promoted through various media outlets and local NGOs.
