How to Fix Democracy D.C. Film Premiere

Article

The Bertelsmann Foundation and Humanity in Action cordially invite fellows to the D.C. premier of the documentary How to Fix Democracy, an extension of their video and podcast series by the same name.

Directed, written, and narrated by Andrew Keen, the How To Fix Democracy film is a documentary about the contemporary crisis of liberal democracy. Filmed in Europe and the United States, How to Fix Democracy charts the rise of illiberal populism and offers economic, technological, and cultural strategies to save liberal democracy. This movie is a timely reminder that the defense of freedom is the most critical issue facing us in the early 21st century.

The film screening will be followed by a discussion with Andrew Keen and Mete Coban, from the UK’s My Life My Say, who appears in the documentary and series. Free drink and popcorn will be provided. RSVP here.
