Magic Fingers

Humanity in Action is proud to present Magic Fingers 妙手回春, a documentary film by Senior Fellow Chun Wang. Created during the #NoArenaChinatown movement in Philadelphia’s Chinatown, the film captures the community’s efforts to protect their neighborhood from a proposed NBA arena development.

The story centers on Sister Jing, a local salon owner who channels her energy through art-making and caregiving in her 11-year-old hair salon.
