Afrofuturism's Reimagined Tomorrows

Senior Fellow Fabrice Guerrier will be speaking at a webinar about Afrofuturism. The webinar will discuss Afrofuturism in literature, music, dance, and politics. There is a large movement towards recognizing and rejecting systemic racism. Afrofuturism imagines “a future where Black people are surviving, thriving, and leading technological and social change.”

Fabrice Guerrier is the founder and CEO of Syllble. He will be joined by Dr. Enongo Lumumba-Kasongo, a rap artist and post-doctoral fellow at Brown University, in a talk moderated by Ytasha Womack, a filmmaker, dance therapist, and author. The event will take place on January 27th.
