Marta Rozmysłowicz awarded the Social Justice Award

Senior Landecker Fellow Marta Rozmysłowicz was awarded the inaugural Social Justice Award by LaborTech Research Networ (LTRN).

LTRN is a community of people dedicated to analyzing issues of labor and technology from an anti-racist, feminist, and transnational perspective. Their community counts over 500 members, including researchers, tech workers, policymakers, activists, and union organizers affiliated with institutions in over 50 countries.

Marta was selected for the Social Justice Award for her work as a union organizer and legal representative of employees in labor court. In addition, LTRN noted she is pursuing a Thesis in Labor Law at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and conducting action-oriented research in her Landecker Project titled “Workers Fight Back Algorithms.”

Marta is one of thirty 2022-2023 Landecker Democracy Fellows. This fellowship, a collaboration between the Alfred Landecker Foundation and Humanity in Action, was created to strengthen a new generation of leaders whose approaches to political and social challenges can become catalysts for democratic placemaking and community building.
