Humanity in Action the Netherlands teaches, inspires and connects, students and young professionals in the field of human rights, inclusiveness and democracy.

We offer an internship position Amsterdam Fellowship 2020 & Communications from January 2020 for 7 months (min. 24 hours a week – full time in May and June). You can start earlier in consultation.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an enterprising student (Academic/Higher Vocational Education level) or a recent graduate who will enthusiastically join our office in Amsterdam. We are looking for a great organizer and writer with social (media) skills. Someone interested in – and experienced with – the themes we work on. Strong spoken and written skills (both in Dutch and English) are important in this respect.

It helps if you have excellent social, organizational and administrative skills and a sense of responsibility. We expect you to work accurately and carefully and that you will be able to work at your initiative and independently for a wide variety of activities.

Your responsibilities

You support the program manager in the preparation and organization of the Amsterdam Fellowship 2020, as well as other programs and public events.

You take the lead in writing texts on our website and in strengthening our communication systems. You will assist the Humanity in Action the Netherlands office in community building on social media. Also, you will assist in supporting the general activities at the office.
