The second in-person meeting of the KICKSTARTER project participants took place from 19-21 January 2024 in Katowice, Poland.
After the diagnosis of the organisation we made during the first gathering, the time has come to take a closer look at the teams and people of the organisation. During our meeting, the participants explored issues related to HR, people management and cooperation with the volunteers. Our team was also supported by trainer Martyna Stec, with whom participants practised techniques of effective, empathetic and open communication.
There was also a local thread – we met in the Zimbardo Centre with members of the Factory of Local Initiatives Association – Waldemar Jan, Małgorzata Krakowiak and Anna Solińska, which enriched our programme in terms of content and networking. We also visited the picturesque Nikiszowiec to further immerse ourselves in localism and learn about the broader context of NGO activity in the district.
